For Care Facilities and Support Services
Many people. Individual emergency information. Easier to manage.
With zorVaro, care facilities, assisted-living providers and other organizations can provide personal emergency cards and SOS tags for many people. Each person gets their own QR code and emergency page.
For care, support and facilities
Individual emergency information — even at larger scale.
An emergency card is personal. Managing many emergency cards should not be unnecessarily complicated. That is why zorVaro combines individual QR emergency pages with tools for larger card inventories.
Personal emergency page
Each card or SOS tag links to its own emergency page with the information approved for that purpose.
Bulk import
Prepared personal and master data can be imported in bulk. This reduces manual entry for each individual record.
Keep data up to date
Changes can be updated later in zorVaro. The QR code already issued can remain unchanged.
Cards and SOS tags
Depending on the use case, emergency cards, SOS tags or combined sets can be used.
From data record to personal emergency card
Even 100 or 1,000 cards remain individual cards.
A larger order does not mean all cards are the same. Each person can have their own QR code and their own approved information.
This makes it possible to prepare, for example, 100, 250, 500 or 1,000 individual emergency cards, SOS tag sets or combinations for a facility.
Bulk import helps transfer existing data in a structured way without having to manually re-enter every record from scratch.
Important: The data imported and the data later visible on an emergency page are handled separately. Not every stored piece of information has to be publicly accessible.
Reuse existing data
Avoid maintaining the same data twice when it already exists.
Care facilities already manage a great deal of information in existing systems. Suitable data can be transferred via zorVaro bulk import for initial setup.
Which fields are used can be tailored to the specific use case. Typical examples can include name and basic information, internal assignments, emergency contacts, selected medical notes, allergies and intolerances, medications, or other information intended for the relevant emergency page.
Only information intended and approved for that emergency page is displayed.
Connect to existing care management software
Integrations instead of ongoing duplicate data entry.
For larger facilities, a one-time bulk import is only part of the solution. If personal and care data are already managed in care management software, a technical integration with the existing system can also make sense.
zorVaro is designed for custom integrations and automated data transfers. What type of integration is possible depends on the care software in use and the interfaces or export options it provides.
Possible approaches include regular data imports or a direct, secured connection between the systems.
A specific integration is always coordinated with the facility and the provider of the care software in use.
We therefore do not promise blanket compatibility with every care system on the market, but we can assess together which technical approach makes sense.
How rollout can work
From a few test cards to a larger inventory.
Define requirements
Decide which people need cards or SOS tags and which information should be made available.
Import data
Existing data can be prepared and imported through the bulk import.
Create emergency pages
Personal emergency pages and the corresponding QR codes are set up for each person.
Produce cards
The requested emergency cards, SOS tags or sets are produced and supplied together.
Keep information up to date
If approved information changes, it can be updated in the system. The QR code can remain the same.
What does someone see after scanning?
Only the information intended for that purpose.
A QR code on a zorVaro Emergency Card opens the personal emergency page for that person. It can provide contact details, medical notes or other important information, for example.
The information actually shown is defined for each use case. Depending on the configuration, access can also be protected.
No special zorVaro app is required for scanning. A suitable smartphone with QR code support is enough.
Privacy for sensitive information
Especially important with care and health data.
A solution for care facilities may process particularly sensitive personal data. That is why a complete data record should not simply be displayed on a QR page.
zorVaro separates the management of information from its publication on the relevant emergency page. This makes it possible to define exactly which information is actually needed for the intended purpose.
For custom integrations with care software, the scope of data, transmission method, permissions and technically necessary processing are considered together.
A public emergency page does not replace complete care documentation. Its purpose is to make the information needed for the intended use case quickly accessible.
Cards, tags or a combination
The right format for each use case. You choose the design.
Emergency Card
The classic PVC card in standard card format can be carried in a wallet, for example.
SOS tags
SOS tags can also be attached to suitable objects or personal belongings.
Card + SOS tags
For some use cases, a combination makes sense. Even with larger orders, each QR code remains individually assigned.
Suitable for different types of facilities
Not every facility works in the same way.
zorVaro can be useful for residential care facilities, assisted living, home care services, group homes and other support services, among others.
A whole facility does not have to switch at once. A rollout can start with one unit or a limited number of people and be expanded later.
Quantities and custom quotes
From smaller facilities to larger care organizations.
Larger quantities and batch orders are available for facilities and organizations. For quantities such as 100, 250, 500 or 1,000 cards, SOS tag sets or combinations, we can prepare a custom quote.
In addition to production itself, requirements such as bulk import, data preparation or a possible software integration can also be included.
Frequently Asked Questions
Questions from facilities
Does every emergency card have to be created individually?
No. For larger inventories, bulk import is available so prepared data can be imported together.
Can a facility update data later?
Yes. Stored information can be updated. The QR code printed on an existing card does not therefore need to be replaced automatically.
Can zorVaro import data from our care management software?
It depends on the system in use. If the care software provides suitable interfaces or export options, we can assess a technical integration or automated data transfer.
Does zorVaro already support every care software system?
No. There is no blanket compatibility guarantee for every system on the market. What is possible depends on the specific software and its technical interfaces.
Does all existing care data have to appear on the emergency page?
No. The emergency page is not a complete care record. It should provide only the information intended for the relevant purpose.
Can we start by testing with just a few people?
Yes. A facility can start with a smaller group or a single unit and expand use later.
Is zorVaro a medical emergency alert or home emergency call system?
No. The zorVaro Emergency Card provides information and contact options defined in advance. It does not detect a medical emergency and does not replace emergency services, medical alert systems or home emergency call systems.
