Check-ins

Simply check in — and let others know if you wish.

You can check in through the secure zorVaro area, conveniently via the app or by SMS.

Each check-in restarts the time window you defined. You can also choose to have prepared messages sent automatically after your check-in.

For example, a quick click can let several family members know that everything is okay.

SMS is especially useful in situations with no or only limited internet access. Suitable satellite communication devices can also be used, provided they can send SMS messages to public mobile phone numbers.

Scheduled actions

You decide what should happen and when.

Actions can be scheduled at different times around your check-in and repeated if needed.

This allows you to prepare short “Everything’s okay” messages after a check-in as well as multi-step processes for when an expected check-in is missed.

Messages and notifications

zorVaro can automatically send prepared messages through different channels:

• SMS
• automated voice call
• registered mail

You choose the communication channel that best fits each contact and situation. All-good messages, reminders and contingency actions all use the same prepared workflow.

Registered mail is an optional additional service. The estimated cost is shown in advance and charged against your zorVaro credit balance.

FILES

Share files securely

You can add files to prepared actions if you wish.

You can choose whether a file is sent directly as an attachment or made available through a personal, protected retrieval link.

Each recipient can have their own retrieval link and retrieval code. If needed, the code can be sent separately by SMS or automated voice call.

File contents are stored encrypted on the server. For particularly sensitive content, an additional mode is available for files that you have already encrypted yourself.

zorVaro does not analyze your files. Uploaded files are not opened for content, searched, indexed or displayed as a preview. They are processed only for encrypted storage and the delivery method you selected — for example as an email attachment or through a protected download.

Contacts

All important people in one place.

Contacts are managed centrally in your account and can then be used for different actions.

This means you do not have to enter the same contact details again for every new action.

Vertretungen und Erreichbarkeit

Ist eine Vertrauensperson vorübergehend nicht verfügbar, können Sie für einen Kontakt eine zeitlich begrenzte Vertretung Substitutions and Availability If a trusted contact is temporarily unavailable, you can assign a temporary substitute for that contact. zorVaro automatically takes the substitute into account for the specified period. If the change is permanent, a contact can also be replaced entirely by another person. For automated voice calls, you can additionally define an allowed calling window. For example, if a call becomes due during the night but calls are only permitted from 6:00 a.m. onward, zorVaro postpones the call until the next allowed time. SMS, email, and other actions remain unaffected.

Für automatische Sprachanrufe können Sie zusätzlich ein Anruf-Zeitfenster festlegen. Wird ein Anruf beispielsweise nachts fällig, obwohl Anrufe erst ab 06:00 Uhr erlaubt sind, verschiebt zorVaro den Anruf auf den nächsten zulässigen Zeitpunkt. SMS, E-Mail und andere Aktionen bleiben davon unberührt.

UNTERWEGS

Wenn Sie später zurück sein wollten – und niemand weiß, warum Sie es nicht sind.

Mit „Unterwegs“ können Sie für einen begrenzten Zeitraum hinterlegen, dass Sie beispielsweise wandern, Rad fahren, allein unterwegs sind oder zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt zurück sein möchten.
Sie legen eine geplante Rückkehrzeit fest und können den Zeitraum jederzeit verlängern oder sich mit „Sicher zurück“ zurückmelden.
Bleibt die Rückmeldung aus, kann zorVaro die dafür vorbereiteten Benachrichtigungen und Aktionen ausführen.
Dabei bleibt Ihr normales Lebenszeichen unabhängig bestehen. Sie entscheiden selbst, ob eine Rückkehr gleichzeitig als Lebenszeichen gelten soll.
So eignet sich die Funktion auch für kurzfristige Situationen, ohne den normalen Lebenszeichen-Rhythmus verändern zu müssen.

NOTFALLKARTEN

Wichtige Informationen griffbereit – auch unterwegs.

Mit zorVaro können Sie persönliche Notfallkarten mit QR-Code erstellen und beispielsweise im Portemonnaie mitführen.

Sie entscheiden selbst, welche Informationen über eine Karte erreichbar sind – zum Beispiel Notfallkontakte, medizinische Hinweise, Allergien, Blutgruppe, Informationen zu Kindern oder Verweise auf wichtige Dokumente.

Der Zugriff kann direkt über den QR-Code erfolgen oder zusätzlich durch eine PIN geschützt werden.

Ändern sich später Kontaktdaten oder andere Angaben, werden diese einfach in zorVaro aktualisiert.

Der QR-Code auf der bereits vorhandenen Karte bleibt derselbe.Die Karten können im Kartenformat 86 × 54 mm als PDF ausgegeben werden. Farbe, Anordnung und Umfang der dargestellten Informationen lassen sich individuell anpassen.

Auch für Haustiere

Für Haustiere können ebenfalls Notfallkarten erstellt werden. Über den QR-Code lassen sich aktuelle Informationen zur Versorgung und ausgewählte Kontakte bereitstellen – damit im Bedarfsfall schnell erkennbar ist, dass Tiere betreut werden müssen.Nur die Informationen, die Sie für die jeweilige Karte freigeben, werden auf der zugehörigen Notfallseite angezeigt.

Connect with other systems

zorVaro can also trigger prepared actions in other systems through protected interfaces.

For example, WordPress, WooCommerce or other supported services can be included in a personal workflow.

The workflow view clearly shows which steps are scheduled and when.
